Description of Project and Lessons Learned
The Township of Malahide was seeking a creative and innovative approach to the preparation of a Parks and Recreational Master Plan. The Township wanted an outcome that was a clear action plan that would lead the Township in the development of future parks, recreation and waterfront infrastructure and services.
The completed Parks and Recreational Master Plan by MGA and GSP Group provided the Township with the necessary framework to manage its waterfront, parks, open spaces, programs, events, facilities, to support the municipality during development agreements, in future grant applications, and all other recreational elements in a cost-effective manner consistent with industry leading and evidence- based practices.
